Guests have a multitude of options for keeping connected during their stay at Hotel Okura, whether their objective is to access an e-mail account, download large video and sound files, or simply find out what's going on around the hotel.


Broadband Laptop Access

* Usage rate: ¥1,575 (including tax) per 24-hour.

Available in all guestrooms, Hotel Okura's high-speed broadband connectivity ,100Mbps Backbone, for laptop Internet access allows guests to download files rapidly — a perfect solution for getting business done with a minimum of lag time. With specialized data port cables provided in-room, guests need only their laptops and an ethernet card to connect to the Internet quickly and easily.

Dial-up Modem Connectivity
* Usage rate: Cost of call to access point x 1.3 plus tax

A modular data port for standard dial-up connectivity is available in all guestrooms. Please note that zero (0) is not necessary for accessing an Internet service provider from guestrooms.

Cellular/PHS Access
Cellular Phones: NTT DoCoMo, AU, Tu-ka and vodafone subscribers enjoy wireless access in hotel guestrooms and throughout public access areas in the Main Building and South Wing.

PHS: NTT DoCoMo, DDI Pocket and Astel Tokyo subscribers enjoy wireless access in hotel guestrooms and throughout Hotel Okura public access areas.

* While cellular phone use is both available and permitted in public access areas around the hotel, we kindly ask that cellular phone subscribers refrain from using their phones in these areas whenever possible, out of respect to other hotel guests and visitors.

Wireless LAN Connectivity:
Designated areas around the hotel are equipped with 11Mbps wireless Internet connectivity via HOTSPOT (NTT Communications) and Mzone (NTT DoCoMo). Guests with a laptop PC card (IEEE802.11b) are invited to make use of this service.
