Hotel Okura Sapporo is located close to the center

The closest airport to Sapporo is the New Chitose Airport,
with both international and domestic flights, approximately 25 miles from
Sapporo. The JR Airport Express train departs every 15 minutes to Sapporo
Station and takes approximately 35 minutes. Sapporo has an efficient transport
system with three subway lines that intersect at Odori subway station, a tramway
line, and an effective bus service.
